Controversy surrounds Santa Fe Klan after fan Cristian claims he had been beaten at a Guanajuato concert

Cristian claims assault at rapper Santa Fe Klan's event, sparking controversy and dividing netizens over the Guanajuato incident's veracity.

Famed rapper, Ángel Jair Quezada Jasso, widely known as Santa Fe Klan, is under scrutiny following accusations from a fan that he ordered a violent attack during a concert on September 22nd in the capital of Guanajuato.

Cristian, an ardent follower, recounted the alleged assault on his Instagram account (@bravoyums), sharing images of his injuries to corroborate his claims. The posts have since garnered substantial attention with over 3,000 reactions and 200 comments.

Cristian detailed the incident, explaining how his attempt to take a photograph with the rapper took a harrowing turn.

“I approached to take a picture, and the guard granted me access without a problem,” Cristian began. However, after handing over his cell phone to the rapper, the situation purportedly turned confrontational. “When [Santa Fe Klan] received my phone, he became aggressive… I requested my phone back, yet his demeanor grew increasingly hostile.”

The sequence of events that followed is at the heart of the dispute. Cristian claimed that after a brief verbal altercation, the rapper ordered his security personnel to attack him, shouting, “SOBRES DE ÉL!” Cristian alleges he was beaten by the group, sustaining injuries, particularly to his head, and his phone was not returned.

Santa Fe Klan’s rebuttal

While the rapper has yet to release an official statement on the matter, he did respond directly to Cristian’s Instagram post, hinting that the fan posed a potential threat at the event.

“I was taking photos with all fans,” Santa Fe Klan commented, “But I will now upload videos from my store’s cameras to show the machete you had concealed in your pants. That’s why I left the neighborhood.”
