Seven restaurants from Yucatan are among the 250 largest in Mexico in the Gastronomic Guide 2022.
On January 24, the representatives of ‘La Tradición’, ‘Merci, ‘Micaela Mar y Leña’, ‘Oliva’, ‘Néctar’, ‘Kinich’, ‘Ixi’im’ attended Acapulco for the eighth edition of the Mexico Gastronomic Guide 2022.
These seven establishments are part of a compendium of 250 restaurants in the country that are part of the Guide, which is edited by Culinaria Mexicana and printed by Larousse Cocina, which has become a benchmark for the best food in the Republic.
The listing was chosen by a Council of Voters made up of more than 60 journalists from the industry, sommeliers, businessmen and food lovers who traveled throughout the year to learn about the proposals of the restaurateurs.
‘La Tradición’, ‘Merci, ‘Micaela Mar y Leña’, ‘Oliva’, ‘Néctar’, ‘Kinich’, ‘Ixi’im’, are now part of the wide gastronomic offer of the state, offering traditional to contemporary cuisine, of author and merger.
Seven restaurants in Mérida and their gastronomic offers
In a brief summary, the ‘Ixi’im’ restaurant in Chocolá offers Mexican cuisine with nuances from the southeast of Mexico; while ‘Kinich’, in Izamal, is a typical Yucatan food restaurant whose objective is to taste the best regional dishes; ‘La Tradición’ uses ancient processes such as the burial technique; the ‘Merci’ offers fresh and local products made at the moment and combines the culture of the United States and France; ‘Micaela Mar y Leña’ is characterized by its hospitality, where each dish is designed to touch the soul of its guests; ‘Nectar’ is dedicated to traditional food with a contemporary twist and finally ‘Oliva Enoteca’ specializes in fresh and authentic Italian food.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to the gastronomic offer, each of the establishments offers a perfect setting and environment for the coexistence of its diners.
As of the eighth edition of this edition, the Responsible Business Boutique, in coordination with Larousse Cocina and Culinaria Mexicana, has begun to promote sustainability in the 250 restaurants that appear in the Gastronomic Guide 2022.
