She gave herself away: A woman is accused of killing her mother-in-law and contradicts herself in the testimony

Police from the municipality of Apodaca, Nuevo León, in Mexico, detained this Thursday a woman allegedly linked to the murder of her mother-in-law.

The victim would have been stabbed this Wednesday afternoon in a house in the Ciudad Natura neighborhood.

The woman identified as 42-year-old Ericka, fell into contradictions in his testimony by telling officials different versions of what happened.

As reviewed The Chihuahua Diary witnesses stated that the daughter-in-law had her hands and clothes stained with the victim’s bloodIn addition to the side of the deceased woman, the knife was found with which he allegedly caused 10 injuries to her back.

The mother-in-law was identified as María Marcela Terrazas Godínez, 68 years old and according to the paramedics, when they arrived at the scene he was already without vital signs.

Ericka was detained to be handed over to the State Investigation Agency to determine her alleged involvement in the femicide of her mother-in-law.
