At least two threatening messages were posted in Aguascalientes and were signed by El 30, an alleged member of the Sinaloa Cartel. According to local media, the banners were placed on Sunday, June 4, at two points in the state.
“Manna doesn’t forgive, to bite the hand that feeds them. Wherever you go, we’ll get you. We continue to work with the rats (…) 30 and its people do not forgive these betrayals, and it goes for everyone who still does not believe that the plaza has an owner”, was read in the first part of the tarp.
It is worth noting that underneath the message appeared several photographs and aliases with a red mark referring to the fact that they had been killed. One of them was Edgar Rodrigo Hernandez Balcazar, alias Cobra, who, according to some versions, was killed on Thursday, June 3.

The security institutions of the entity were in charge of removing the messages after they were placed.
The other narcomensaje of “El 30”
It is not the first time that narco-messages of El 30 have been placed in Aguascalientes, as last February 8 found blankets with a similar image to those reported on Sunday. On that occasion, the structure was similar, but the subjects in the texts did not have the red mark.
The narco-message was signed by El 30, and just below his name appeared the colors of the flag and the words Sinaloa Cartel.

“Here in Aguascalientes pure CDS, the dog that barks does not bite (…) the people of Aguascalientes know that they are calm because of us, so they extort and steal from other states (…) these are your soldiers,” could be read on one of the canvases.
In the other message, El 30 referred to “las jaliscas,” a possible allusion to a rival criminal organization, the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation (CJNG), a group with which they maintain a rivalry in different parts of the country.
They even mentioned the leader of the so-called Four Letter Cartel, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho, and accused CJNG members of driving them out of Zacatecas.
The relevance of Aguascalientes for the drug trade

At least four criminal groups have been registered in Aguascalientes, including the Sinaloa Cartel and the CJNG. “We have information from the Jalisco Cartel, we have information from the Sinaloa Cartel,” mentioned the now deceased Porfirio Sanchez Mendoza, head of the Public Security Secretariat of the entity, last October 2022.
Aguascalientes is a relevant region for criminal organizations because it borders Zacatecas and Jalisco, entities where drug movement has been registered.
A document entitled “Criminal Activity and Drug Trafficking Routes Aguascalientes” of the Secretariat of National Defense(Sedena) after the hacking by the Guacamaya group, dated December 2021, identified the CJNG, Los Michoacanos, and Los Talibanes. But the military reports also mentioned an ongoing struggle between the criminal group led by El Mencho and the Sinaloa Cartel.
Also in Aguascalientes, alleged members of the CJNG appeared, recording a video announcing their arrival in the state on February 6.
An interview with the state prosecutor, Jesus Figueroa Ortega, was shared through social networks, in which he mentioned that this is not the first time this has happened. “We have to see who are the ones who are attacking this group. It has been mentioned for many years that it is present in Aguascalientes.”
