Singer Karol G uses Psalm 91 as inspiration to launch powerful new song S91

Karol G is the trending word of the last 24 hours. The singer from Antioquia released S91, her most recent song that shows the spiritual side of the reggaetonera and with which she intends to leave a message that millions of fans can reflect on.

In addition, she affirmed that the song’s composition goes beyond a simple business, as she stated in a Twitter post in which she surprised her followers with a heartfelt message.

Psalm 91: Karol G’s inspiration

Karol G has claimed to be very believing and devoted to God, so in an interview for Elle magazine on TikTok, she confirmed that her mom made her learn this psalm to pray with him, asking God for protection.

“My mom took us to school all our lives and taught us Psalm 91 to pray after leaving the house every morning. She said they were sacred words of protection. When she saw that something she had taught me since I was a little girl had been included in the song, the tears were not long in coming,” she said.

Psalm 91 is composed of verses that speak of protection, which may well have inspired the new song by Karol G, who wanted to portray in the clip an empowered and powerful figure ready to fight against all the difficulties that may arise in a profession like hers.
