Llandel Veguilla Malavé, also known as Yandel, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer widely known for his work in the Reggaeton genre. Yandel was born on January 14, 1977, in Cayey, Puerto Rico. He first rose to fame as half of the duo Wisin & Yandel alongside his longtime friend, Wisin (Juan Luis Morera Luna).
