It was with a sense of palpable excitement that the organizers of Tecate Pa’l Norte revealed their star-studded lineup for the 2024 edition. The official announcement has thrilled music aficionados, reinforcing the festival’s reputation as a must-attend event.
Scheduled for March 29, 30, and 31, the festival will once again grace the Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, a venue that has consistently been the epicenter of diverse musical talents. Year after year, this annual rendezvous has offered a blend of international and national acts that have captivated audiences.

Headliners: A Show of Shows
Unlike the last Tecato Pa’l Norte event from 2023, filling the headliner slot for this year’s festival are musical powerhouses Peso Pluma, Kendrick Lamar, and Blink-182. “Something that has generated a lot of conversation among music and concert fans is that Blink-182 will finally return to Mexican soil, after several cancellations with lame excuses that did not fully convince their Mexican fans,” observed keen-eyed commentators.
Interestingly, Kendrick Lamar’s itinerary also includes another appearance in Mexico in the same month; he’s slated to perform at AXE Ceremonia, another highly-anticipated music event.

Rival Reactions: AXE Ceremonia Weighs In
The announcement set social media abuzz, including a response from another significant player in the Mexican music festival scene, AXE Ceremonia. “Beautiful lineup @tecatepalnorte,” the festival commented via its official account on X, previously known as Twitter.
This led to a flurry of reactions—some humorous, some hinting at rivalry. In a tongue-in-cheek exchange, when quizzed about their own lineup, AXE Ceremonia retorted: “Aber al sine.”
