Terrifying video shows game mechanic crashing in India; there are several wounded

At least 16 people were injured after the amusement ride accident.

A video captured a terrible accident this Sunday, when a mechanical game failed at a fair in the city of Mohali in India. Several people on the giant swing, including children, were injured in the accident. A police investigation is underway.

In the footage, the swing can be seen falling straight to the ground from the air, landing with an aggressive impact. Several were seen swinging from their chairs in the air.

According to local media, the mechanical game suddenly collapsed at high speed and several people, who were in the attraction including women and children, were injured in the incident when they hit the ground. While those waiting in the surroundings run away.

Emergency services and civilians who were on site carried out rescue maneuvers to help passengers who were trapped in the game get out.

The first reports indicate that at least 16 people were injured, and 10 of them were transferred to different nearby hospitals.

On July 14, a 14-year-old girl tragically died at an amusement park in Denmark’s second-largest city, Aarhus, due to an accident on an amusement park roller coaster.

As confirmed to local media Henrik Ragborg Olsen, manager of the Tivoli Friheden amusement park, the incident occurred when part of the rear car in which the girl was traveling in the Cobra attraction detached.
