Texas governor's terrifying video reveals presence of massive crocodile in Rio Bravo waters, raising safety concerns along the border.

The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, shared a terrifying video on his social networks where a huge crocodile can be seen swimming through the waters of the Rio Bravo. According to the U.S. official, the clip was recorded by members of the Texas National Guard, who noticed the presence of the giant reptile when they were conducting tours in the vicinity of the city of Eagle Pass, on the border with the municipality of Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

In the publication, the state governor detailed the presence of these huge reptiles in the water. In addition, in the clip released by Greg Abbott, a crocodile can be seen swimming a few meters away from a Texas National Guard boat. “The Texas National Guard took this picture on the Rio Grande River near Eagle Pass,” the Republican wrote on his social networks.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time U.S. authorities have reported the presence of crocodiles in the waters of the Rio Bravo. Elements of the National Guard have captured the presence of reptiles near the pillars of the International Bridge number I, between Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras. The Border Patrol released a photo of a crocodile near the city a few months ago, as the Eagle Pass News-Leader reported.

Despite the constant sightings of these reptiles, no attacks on people have been documented. However, authorities issued a new alert to urge migrants not to cross the Rio Grande into the United States, as these animals and the strong current of water could endanger their lives.
