According to official figures, two cities of Jalisco and three more of Chihuahua, Sinaloa and the capital of the country concentrate the five most dangerous municipalities to be woman in Mexico due to its concentration of femicides.
The municipalities where more women have been victims of murder between January and November 2021, in an alleged commission of feminicide, are Ciudad Juárez, in Chihuahua, and Culiacán, Sinaloa, with 16 cases each; San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, with 14 cases: Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, also in Jalisco, with 13 years, and Gustavo A. Madero Mayor of Mexico City, with 12 cases.
These cities are followed by the capitals of Chihuahua and Puebla, both with 11 cases, and Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, also with 11 cases; in addition to Guadalajara, Jalisco, with 10 cases, and Tijuana, Baja California, with nine cases, reported the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).

It should be noted that this December 25, the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System presented such figures of crime incidence against women in the country, with a cutoff to November 30, 2021. In that tenor, 3 thousand 462 women were murdered in 11 months of 2021 in Mexico.

Regarding emergency calls to 911, 4.37% of the requests registered between January and November 2021 were related to family violence, followed by violence against women and intimate partner violence, with 1.83 and 1.64 %, respectively. In total, the SSPC reported the commission of more than 1.8 million crimes against women in the year.
