Peso Pluma’s “Ella baila sola” is on the Billboard Hot 100, indicating his songs are a hit. However, before opting for the corridos tumbados, the singer had a different stage facet. Did he sing reggaeton? In American Post News, we share with you all the details.
What did Peso Pluma do before his fame?
Before being known for his corrido bélicos, and songs about violence and drug trafficking, Peso Pluma had a very different past.
As a teenager, the famous singer showed interest in the world of music at a very young age when he started playing guitar with his cousins.
Later, he formed a group with Tito Laija (a relative), but it was not until 2020 that he officially entered the music industry.
Thanks to “Ella baila sola,” Peso Pluma’s most listened-to song, he has appeared in the most important stages such as Foro Sol, invited by Eduin Caz.
He has even collaborated with Junior H and Natanael Cano, great exponents of corridos.
What are Peso Pluma’s songs about Los Chapitos?
Mexican “Doble P” has been controversial for his songs about drug trafficking and organized crime.
For example, he has created melodies where he alludes to ‘Los Chapitos,’ sons of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán. One of them is “AMG” with Natanael Cano and Gabito Ballesteros.
Others are “Fuerza Régida,” “El Azul,” and “Siempre Pendientes,” in the latter, Peso Pluma collaborates with Luis R. Conriquez and extols the figure of ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán in the Mexican cartels.
