The Italian palazzo of ‘House of Gucci’ is now on Airbnb

Many people are talking about House of gucci at this time. You have a Lady Gaga with an Italian accent, Adam Driver with oversized glasses from the 1990s and lots of haute couture. And then there are the stunning interiors.

The Villa Balbiano It is a swanky 16th century palazzo by Lake Como and is the patriarch of Aldo Gucci’s rural retreat in the film. It looks lush and doesn’t look much like your standard vacation rental. This could be yours to rent through Airbnb the next spring.

Airbnb has among its offers the Villa Balbiano

The house has six suites designed by acclaimed French designer Jacques Garcia. Inside, you’ll find Sotheby’s paintings, Christie’s antiques, delicate gilt chandeliers, plush velvet furnishings, and original 17th-century frescoes. The bathroom is decorated with blue marble and you can sleep on an elaborate baroque bed in the master bedroom.

The outdoor space is beautiful too – its restoration even won an award from the British Society of Garden Designers. Visitors can stroll through the manicured ornate gardens or relax by one of the Renaissance-style fountains. There’s also a large outdoor pool, plus a private dock and boathouse.

The house is only available on March 22 next year, with an overnight stay costing £ 845 ($ 1,125), though for that price you will get all six suites. The reservation opens on December 6 at 5pm (GMT) through Airbnb.
