The price of the dollar in Mexico: remains with little movement

The dollar falls in the Mexican market, again this week.

Today the dollar begins its exchange day in the Mexican market with little movement, compared to yesterday’s day. For Wednesday morning, the dollar is trading at a price of 20.14 pesos per dollar unit. The peso appreciates just under 2 cents.

For bank window, the average price is 19.90 pesos per greenback for purchase and 20.38 pesos per unit of US currency for sale.

Testifying before the Senate Banking Committee today are Jerome Powell, Chairman of the Federal Reserve; for this reason there is concern in the environment of US investors. Powell is expected to be pressed on the uphill task of fighting inflation.

Powell is scheduled to talk about economic growth prospects for the country.
