Gerardo Tata Martino, accompanied by Yon de Luisa and Jaime Ordiales, announced the list of 31 players who will travel to Girona, Spain, for the Mexican National Team’s final tour toward the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
There will still be casualties. Of these 31 players, 26 will be selected to play in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where the El Tri will face Poland, Argentina, and Saudi Arabia.
At the Mexican Soccer Federation facilities, the Mexican National Team’s top officials announced the players who will face Iraq (November 9) and Sweden (November 16), the last two preparation matches.

The Mexican National Team’s call-up list will also include 14 youth players, who will make up Gerardo Martino’s team for the tour of Spain.
These elements will serve as sparring partners to help the Mexican team train for the World Cup; they will not participate in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
