HOUSTON – The Southwest neighborhood is one of the most dangerous in the city and this Tuesday night the violence took on another life.

This time it is about a 16-year-old Hispanic girl who, while walking with her dog, was shot 22 times.

The deadly incident occurred in the 15400 block of Park Manor Street around 9:30 p.m.

The gunshots were heard throughout the neighborhood and after the victim’s relatives came out to investigate they found their worst nightmare.

The youngest, Diamond Álvarez, was lying on the floor bleeding when her loved ones found her.

The young woman would have gone out with her little pet when a shooting was heard in the neighborhood.

The family, upon hearing the gunshots, went out to look for her, but they only found the pet back home.

After searching the neighborhood, with the help of the police and emergency teams, they found the minor with multiple gunshot wounds. This was already lifeless.

The authorities hope that with the help of security cameras they can have a clearer idea of ​​what happened.
