Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance: How did this invitation come about as the two got together?

JD: “We are happy, excited, happy, very motivated with this new challenge for both of us as artists who are singers and actress. It is a great challenge that we are now on a dance floor, a great challenge ”.
LM: “I met her in Sinaloa in Mazatlán in a recording studio, she is a great person. Those who already know her know that she is a great person, she is super talented and those who have not met her will be able to meet her through this Así se Baila program. It was a very easy choice, besides being talented and beautiful, she dances very well ”.
Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance: Do the winners feel like they have seen the competition?

LM: “When it was the invitation for us to come to Así se Baila, I was really focused on how I can be a better dancer, how I can lose weight, how I can move better to give it all the desire in the world. The spirit of competition is being born in me and I am seeing the different couples, now if I kind of want to win, we are going to win ”.
JD: “Besides the cast, the cast are talented artists, so if there is a certain nerve and a lot of commitment on everyone’s part, then that injects you a bit with wanting to compete, motivating you. But I don’t know, I like challenges and it’s getting good ”.
Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance: Are you ready to receive a criticism from the judges?

JD: “That is a topic, the artist’s ego, the truth is I in this program, in this reality show, in this contest I feel very relaxed because my audience knows that I am an actress and a singer, so now it motivates me. They are going to know another facet of Jessica that I like a lot, I am passionate about, however I am not the best dancer in the world, I do not have the ballet technique, but what this couple is going to give them is energy and fun ”.
Which rhythm are you most afraid of being played? LM: “We both have a lot of energy, I think the dance style that is going to cause us the most problems is the technical one, because we have our movements with a lot of energy. Tango is very technical, we are doing everything with a lot of love and discipline. And there is a very sexy little surprise in bachata, this couple is going to be able to risk it in bachata ”
Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance: Do you feel confident, don’t you feel a little out of place?

LM: “Definitely, but if it were a singing contest, I sing all kinds of music, I love to sing all kinds of music and it doesn’t cost me a lot of work, but dancing does. I believe that to be a better person you have to jump into the unknown, where you are not in your waters, where you live, in your comfort zone ”.
“I tell these people that when you get out of your comfort zone, wonderful things can happen and I am sure that life will bless me with something wonderful. I’m sure that by finishing this program, if we reach the final, we win or we don’t win, something great will happen. In fact it is already happening we have a duet we are recording ending and that is winning in life ”.
Are you nervous about starting a new life outside of your country?

JD: “The truth is that yes, just the girl from the province who went to the capital in search of sleep and thank God she has blessed me, I have been able to make movies, series, theater, musical theater, my music and now that’s just that. very cool to go to another country with my music to bring my art, my dancing talent excites me.
This moving thing was like woow I have to leave my life, it is go away for a while until December because we are going to make it until December, and I hope that great things will happen from this project ”. Filed Under: Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance
Don’t you think that maybe you have been missing fighting for your marriage a little more?

LM: “I did everything possible to save what has already happened, that chapter of my life has finally closed, but I believe that everything happens for something. In this life the leaf of a tree does not fall with the will of God, I am still focused right now falling in love with myself, that all my life has been good for me and it will be better for me, I believe because now I am loving myself much more , I’m loving my body, my career, my future and well, that’s where things go ”.
The two have something in common they just ended a relationship. JD: “José Ron has been a patron who has hunted me in my life humorously and an anecdote that my mother is very Catholic and wants me to stop having boyfriends. Josés comes to me, I write the song to all my ex-boyfriends and regarding my relationship with my ex-partner is a very beautiful relationship, a lot of friendship and everything is beautiful ”. What comes after Así se Baila?

LM: “The Banda Limón thing is a chapter that also closed, very happy with where I am in my career, we are starting my career as a soloist and well, because COVID smashed everything, it was a whole album that could not really be promoted in 2020 ”.
“But this year since February we started and I have not had a weekend off, we went on tour, blessed God, there is a lot of work, places are full, others are not so full, but we are working even as a stripper, they are going to hire me. This month there will be three releases and soon we will do a duet with Jessica Díaz ”. Filed Under: Lorenzo Méndez Jessica Díaz This is how you dance
Don’t you think that sometimes you feel not so valued?

LM: “That is an approach that the truth is that this year we are cleaning up little by little. In 2020 there was not much music for anyone, there were no presentations, so he focused a lot on personal life, apart from my ex-partner is a public figure, so there was a bit of a scandal on both sides. But we are changing all that to what I am, a singer of many years and a long career, many things are coming ”.
“Mundo Hispánico thank you very much for all your support. We must celebrate our culture in this month of Hispanic heritage in September. I am proud of my blood. I love being Mexican and I love my blood, being Hispanic is a pride, our music varies so much, you have different cultures ”.
