Comedian Trevor Noah has decided to put up for sale a penthouse in Manhattan, New York, which he has owned since 2017.
The property was put up for sale just a month after the host reported that he was planning to stop hosting The Daily Show permanently.
According to Wall Street Journal, the property is located just five minutes away from the show’s studios, and they also reported that the asking price is $12.95 million.
Noah invested $10 million in the penthouse in 2017 and thousands of dollars more in remodeling its interior. It is still believed that the comedian will receive a significant profit for the place.
The property is located in an ArtDeco-style building that dates back to the 1920s and is designed by architect Ralph Walker.
The penthouse is 3,600 square feet spread over two floors with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a half bathroom, a foyer, the main living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry room, and other amenities.
Inside, several features stand out, including French oak floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, French doors, black cast metal arches, a marble fireplace, hand-crafted plaster walls, and more.
Among the changes the presenter made to the place is a new game room and living room, which in turn are connected to a stunning 1,000-square-foot terrace.
The terrace has a heated plunge pool, a pergola, a black granite-covered bar, and other features ideal for enjoying the outdoors with a stunning view of New York.
The bedrooms are on the first floor, with a cinema room with charcoal gray woolen carpeting, wool upholstered walls, and large leather recliners.
The master suite is a true luxury with a sitting room, built-in furniture, a double walk-in closet, and a private marble-covered bathroom with a steam shower, deep soaking tub, double vanities, and limestone floors.
