The British singer Paul McCartney, 79, triumphs on stage, but it does not feels he does in the world of real estate. It became known that he sold off the spectacular penthouse he owned in New York City and that he bought in 2015, after paying $15.5 million dollars.
The property, which is located in the middle of Fifth Avenue, was sold by the former Beatles with $8.5 million dollars, that is, in a figure a lot lower than the one he disbursed when acquired it.

Initially Paul and his wife, Nancy Shevell, they contemplated selling it in $12 million dollars but the lack of interested parties caused them to lower their claims to the $10.5 million dollars.

The sale of the apartment took place behind closed doors and through computerized designs.

According to the technical sheet, released by various media specialized in the sale of real estate, McCartney’s former home occupies floors 15, 16 and 17.

The unit originally belonged to the late real estate developer Manny Duell who had it built in 1967 as a gift for his wife.
