The DT of Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel, revealed this Saturday after the 1-0 victory in the visit of the Blues to the Everton stadium the cause of the absence of the Spanish Marcos Alonso in the commitment call.
According to Tuchel, Alonso himself expressed his intention to leave the club and for this reason he considered that “it made no sense” for him to play.
In addition, the German strategist pointed out that the club has already agreed to the change, although he has not mentioned whether his next destination will be closed in the next few hours or if, on the contrary, a final offer for the Spanish winger is still pending.
“That is the case (in reference to the fact that the footballer has asked to leave). He tries to leave and we agreed to this change. For this reason, it would not have made sense to put him on the field today, ”said the coach, according to the London club’s website.
At the moment there is no official information but rumors suggest that Marcos Alonso would already have a closed negotiation with FC Barcelona.
Even the journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the transfer market, revealed that the operation is ready to be announced in the next few days and that the transaction will cost FC Barcelona just over $10 million dollars.
