Three teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17 were arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of Dwight “DJ” Grant, whose lifeless body was discovered in the town of Miramar, in South Florida, days after being reported missing.
A judge ruled this Sunday that the three remain detained without the right to bail for 21 days in the Broward’s Department of Juvenile Justice, although that may change in case it is determined they are processed as adults.
The three teens, who were arrested on Saturday, face charges of first-degree murder, criminal conspiracy and concealment of evidence.
The victim, a high school senior Miramar High School, was reported missing by his family last Sunday, and after two days of searching, his body was found near the apartment complex, where he resides.
Investigators found traces of blood that allowed them to locate the lifeless body of Grant in some bushes.
Detectives said the incident was recorded by a security camera; however, no further details have been provided on the causes of the murder or the murder weapon.
However, information provided by Local 10 indicates that the tragic death of Grant It would have occurred in the middle of an alleged love triangle, in which “DJ” was discovered.

For its part, Sergio smith, a neighbor and friend of the family of the deceased declared how painful the loss of the young man was, and expressed: “It’s horrible, horrible. This boy lost his life for a girl. He had his whole life ahead of him. Has no sense”.
