Ricardo Ferretti is, without a doubt, one of the most important coaches that Mexican soccer has had, where he has trained multiple teams obtaining several titles. However, the most surprising thing is that it is fulfilling 30 years directing and revealed what his secret has been to last so long.
The ´Tuca ‘began his stage as technical director in 1991, when he had the opportunity to direct Pumas and since then he has been directing almost uninterruptedly.
“The secret is to do things passionately, that is, I am passionate about soccer. I do everything I do 100, so I think this is what has made me want to continue working. I love my job and every day I go 100% to direct the boys, to be able to guide them, prepare them so that they do what really keeps you in this position, get the results “confessed the Bravos de Juárez coach.
The Brazilian helmsman also commented that the combination between the trust provided by the board and its players is one of the keys to achieving results and that is what has maintained it for 30 years as a coach.
“You have heard me many times, I am always grateful to the board and the players, because the board supports me and the players get the results. This combination between them is what gives me the possibility of being 30 years directing ”, he indicated.
The ‘Tuca’ Ferretti has led teams such as Pumas, the Chivas de Guadalajara, Toluca, Tigres and currently trains the Bravos de Juárez and in his years as a coach he has won two MX-Apertura League titles, 7 MX-Clausura League Champion titles, a Mexico Cup title, 6 Concacaf Champions League titles, 4 Mexican Champion of Champions titles and a title of Concacaf Cup Champion with the national team.
