After sharing false information about the COVID-19 pandemic and not taking into account Twitter’s warnings, that social network permanently suspended the account of the Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia).

This is one of the two vetified accounts of the Republican, who in @mtgreenee published various conspiracy theories, including the defense of the president Donald trump and the alleged electoral fraud.

“Swe permanently use [@mtgreenee] for repeated violations of our COVID-19 disinformation policy “said Twitter. “We made it clear that under our warning system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the guidelines.”

Greene still has access and can tweet from his official Congress account @RepMTG.

Greene’s account that was suspended was where she was most active, as the last post on her official House profile was in mid-December.
