UEFA ratifies the Champions League final in Saint Petersburg despite the tension between Ukraine and Russia

In recent hours, tension has grown between Russia and Ukrainegenerating the suspension for security reasons of several sporting events, however, the UEFA confirmed that the final of the Champions League It will be played in the city of St. Petersburg.

UEFA indicated that there is no plan to change the city of the final that will be played at the Krestovski Stadium in Saint Petersburg. Although the city in northern Russia is far from the conflict zone, the agency has tried not to give it much importance at the moment.
