Mexico obtained an important victory for the semifinals of the Gold Cup 2021. El Tri beat Canada 2-1 in a rather difficult game. For the Aztec team the commitment was more complicated than necessary. One of those named was Carlos Salcedo.
After Mexico managed to get up on the scoreboard, Salcedo was one of those singled out in Canada’s tie. The Tigres player was screwed in the last line and ended up enabling Tajon buchanan, a player who knew how to solve the counterattack very well.
But that would not be all, the night would remain dark for Salcedo. The Mexican player had the chance to overtake El Tri and make the end less painful. The Aztec was in charge of kicking a penalty about 25 minutes to go. Nevertheless, “The Titan” kicked the charge very focused and wasted a great opportunity.
In this sense, the users of social networks were in charge of humorously highlight Salcedo’s game. In the midst of the victory, Aztec fans shared a series of memes to highlight the failures and mistakes of his compatriot in the match.
