Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo, the so-called “Chief of Chiefs”, is confined in the prison in Puente Grande, Mexico, from where he affirms that he did not commit the crimes that led him to jail, in addition to facing a notable physical deterioration.

“I have no life prognosis, since I lost everything. I lost my sensation, my ears, my eyes, ”the drug trafficker told the Noticias Telemundo team. “I am a corpse which does not wait more than to be buried in the root of a tree”.

The television station achieved the first interview in 32 years with Félix Gallardo, accused of drug trafficking and of collaborating with the torture and murder of the DEA agent, Enrique “Kiki” Camarena.

“I have sick days. I want him to [el camarógrafo] see my eye, ”said Félix Gallardo. “Are you blind?” Asked the journalist. “Completely blind. Completely. Deaf ”, replied the former Sinaloan capo.

“What happened to his arm?” The correspondent for Noticias Telemundo questioned.

“I broke it, because I can’t walk. I walk and slip, ”he said.

Félix Gallardo is the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1970s and exercised his power in the 1980s. His organization later split into several more, including the Sinaloa Cartel.
