A Chipotle customer even threw the cash register at a female employee after she prevented him from grabbing his plate of tacos. Security camera footage released by FOX News this week shows the attack at the Northwest Washington, D.C. establishment.
The video shows when the worker begins to prepare the tacos, and the stranger tries to grab them over the counter.
The woman removed the container with the food, as she felt he was trying to steal them.
“He tried to steal them and failed because I threw them in the trash. And then he went crazy,” the employee told the network.
The interviewee, who asked not to be identified, added that she had never experienced a situation like that at the restaurant.
“No, a lot of crazy things happen at this Chipotle, but not that,” she said.

A Metropolitan Police Department report indicates that the individual was upset because they took so long to serve him his food.
Authorities have not detained the man.
In the footage circulating in the media, the subject is seen throwing bottles of sauce, lettuce, and paper bags at the cash register.
At the time of the incident, the suspect wore a white T-shirt, dark pants, a black hat, a backpack with a military camouflage design, and a bracelet on his left wrist.
Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
