What is a foldable phone?

It comes with a screen/display that can essentially be folded in half, and when fully unfolded, you get a much bigger screen than a standard smartphone. Foldable smartphones are, therefore, bigger than your average smartphone but smaller than your average tablet, somewhere in between.
The first foldable smartphones in modern times hit stores in 2018, and today, in 2023, there are several impressive models on the market. The innovative technology is unquestionably amazing, but some critics say that these devices just aren’t practical.
However, others hail them as the biggest leap in mobile phone technology in years and argue that foldable smartphones are much better than traditional smartphones.
Foldable phones have more storage, bigger screens, and superb battery life, and you can multi-task with the ability to use multiple apps at the same time.

When any ground-breaking new form of technology arrives, it usually starts off expensive and then eventually comes down to a more affordable price that most people can afford.
At the time of writing, today’s best foldable smartphones are still way too costly, and the average person simply cannot afford to have one.
If foldable smartphones do eventually become more affordable, we could see a huge surge in the number of people buying them, and, as reports suggest, people who currently can’t afford them would love to own one.
