On the occasion of National Slider Day, White Castle is inviting all its customers to enjoy a complimentary Cheese Slider this May 15. All they have to do is visit their favorite White Castle and present a digital coupon that can be found on the company’s social media channels.

It is very important that everyone knows that no purchase is necessary to receive the free Cheese Slider.

National Slider Day is one of the most significant days of the year for White Castle. It gives the 101-year-old family business a chance to celebrate the little square burger that made them famous while showing their appreciation for the loyal customers who have fueled White Castle’s popularity and success over the years.

White Castle hopes to give away tens of thousands of Cheese Sliders for free at its more than 350 locations.

“Giving our Cravers a complimentary Cheese Slider on National Slider Day is a way of saying thank you to our devoted fans,” said Jamie Richardson, Vice President of White Castle. “We are so grateful for your unparalleled passion for our Cheese Sliders, as well as our other delicious menu items.”

White Castle reminds its fans that it offers more than 15 varieties of beef, chicken, fish, egg and vegetable sliders for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including the new 1921 Slider, the Chicken & Waffles Slider, the Panko Breaded Fish Slider, the Breakfast Slider and the Impossible Slider.

White Castle fans have been known to go all out, both literally and figuratively, for White Castle’s Cheese Sliders. In fact, according to a recent national survey of 2,000 self-proclaimed burger fans, nearly half (48%) of them said they would travel 30 miles or more for a White Castle speeder, while more than 1 in 4 of them (27%) would ride 50 miles or more.

White Castle reminds customers that they can find their products, including The Original Slider and Classic Cheese Slider, in the freezer aisles of their nearby supermarkets, clubs and convenience stores.

White Castle introduced National Slider Day in May 2015 to honor the iconic hamburger steamed on a bed of onions. Although the Original Slider is highly regarded for its flavor, the 100% beef burger is just as famous for its 2 x 2-inch size, making it so easy to eat it was called a slider.
