The Argentine player of Barcelona Sergio Agüero will announce this Wednesday in an appearance his future after the cardiac arrhythmia suffered on October 30 in a league match against Alavés, as reported by the Barça club.
The event, which will feature the participation of the entity’s president, Joan Laporta, will take place at the club’s facilities.
Agüero had to retire before the end of the first part of the league match against Alavés due to a chest discomfort which was later found to have been caused by a cardiac arrhythmia.
On November 1, the club issued a statement in which it reported that the footballer would be out for three months, in which “the effectiveness of the treatment to determine its recovery process” would be evaluated.
Agüero, who in his career has also played with Independiente, Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City, he signed free last summer for Barcelona and has only played 165 minutes in five games.
A tendon injury to the inner calf of his right leg during the preseason forced him to be out for about two months and to miss the first part of the course with his team.
His only goal for Barça was in the last classic against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou. He scored it in added time in a classic game of his football: a shot from inside the area insufficient for his team, which ended up losing the match (1-2).
