Youth Awards on Univision: Eduin Caz will shine tonight with Clarissa Molina, the young reporter from El Gordo y la Flaca

Under the slogan “Celebrate your passion”, this edition will also feature presentations by Grupo Firme, Kenia Os, Lenin Ramírez and the duo Mau y Ricky, according to the statement published this Wednesday by the TeleOnce channel, affiliated with Univisión, which will broadcast the event live. The Mexican-American artist Ángela Aguilar, the band CNCO and the singer and actress Danna Paola will perform at the nineteenth edition of the Premios Juventud, which will be held on July 21 in Puerto Rico.

From Latin pop to regional Mexican music, a mix of popular and emerging performers will enliven the awards, which will be presented for the first time at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, after 18 years in Miami.

Ángela Aguilar has 7 nominations, including the newly added “Female Artist-On the Rise” category.

The same number of nominations has Grupo Firme, which will delight fans of regional Mexican music with its latest hits: “El Tóxico” and “En tu Perra Vida”.

For her part, Danna Paola, with 3 nominations, makes her debut this year as presenter of the Premios Juventud and will also take the stage.

Accompanying Danna Paola, the awards will be presented in this edition by Eduin Caz, lead vocalist and leader of Grupo Firme; actress Clarissa Molina and singer Prince Royce.

Colombian singers J Balvin and Karol G lead the list of nominations for the Premios Juventud 2022, followed by Puerto Ricans Rauw Alejandro and Farruko.

With eleven nominations, J Balvin and Karol G aspire to the awards for Album of the Year, My Favorite Streaming Artist and male and female youth artists, respectively, among others.
